This was my first trip to Europe, and I was super excited. I’ve been eagerly awaiting an itinerary that covers many countries and cities in the shortest time possible, and European Whirl with Trafalgar delivered! Everything was great, and surpassed all of my expectations. We had a very knowledgeable Tour Director, nice accommodations, well planned optional excursions, and a very experienced driver which all made this tour amazing.
My first two days in London, I got to see the House of Parliament, Tower Bridge, and Westminster Abbey, as well as the Changing of the Guards. We then took the Eurostar to Amsterdam, which was a nice experience, since it was my first time there.
While in Amsterdam, I got to Dine with Wine on the Cruise down the Rhine River where I saw the Anne Frank House. The dinner was amazing, the staff was attentive, and this made it an unforgettable moment. We then made our way to Heidelberg and cruised down the Rhine River to see the Castles.
I had always dreamt of visiting Venice and taking a gondola ride, and this trip fulfilled that little dream of mine. I got to try gelato at freezing temperatures, while soaking in the romantic feeling of Venice, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Rome was magnificent. I could hear the Pope from a close distance, and I also got to see Michelangelo’s Renaissance masterpiece. I visited St. Peter’s Basilica, the Colosseum, and the Sistine Chapel inside the Vatican Museum. The Vatican & Colosseum were part of the Optional excursion offered by Trafalgar, and we got to skip the long lines and went right through.

On our 11th day we visited Switzerland. I enjoyed the most breathtaking scenes from the top of Mount Pilatus and the lake. We took the cable car up the mountain and had snowball fights with other travelers. We also saw clouds from the top of Mount Pilatus. It was such a priceless moment for all!
Our last two days were in Paris, we enjoyed dinner and a cabaret, including wine and champagne, at the world-famous Moulin Rouge and the ‘City of Light’ on a leisurely cruise along the River Seine. I enjoyed every second of the show!
Next stops on the European Whirl with Trafalgar were the Champs Élysées, Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe.

I truly enjoyed the European Whirl with Trafalgar and every optional excursion. I deeply appreciated the tour director for being so knowledgeable and attentive. This trip was amazing! I will definitely be back on another Trafalgar trip soon.
