Quick Facts

The hottest and best time for tourists to visit Portugal is in July and August, but if you are looking for a way to spend some time without all of the hustle and bustle of the tourists, then this would not be the best time to go. You can save some cash when you choose a different point in time to visit the area.

A lot of people choose to go during the off-season, as well if you are looking for better rates or even milder weather. This would be from November to March. There are fewer activities to do during this time, but there are also fewer crowds you will have to push through.
