Tour Itinerary
For centuries, Mexico’s signature mole Poblano has dazzled the palate with its dizzying number of surprising ingredients, including fruit, chocolate, and chili peppers among the list of twenty or more components to the delicious sauce. The varied sights and sounds of Colonial Mexico have the same astonishing effect on those who venture down its cobblestone streets and narrow alleyways. For it’s here that you can see Baroque architecture reminiscent of the Old World, museums that rival Europe’s finest, and even a pyramid wider than any in Egypt. With visits to five UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the pink-spired, 17th-century church of San Miguel de Allende, this tour of Mexico takes you back in time while leading you to some of today’s most magnificent scenery. From the rainbow-lined sidewalks of Guanajuato to the inviting plazas of Guadalajara, you’ll be shimmying to mariachi music, sipping mezcal and margaritas, and shouting everyone’s favorite word, Tequila!

It's usually hard to beat our expectations of a trip but Avalon most certainly did it. The atmosphere delivered, the food, the excursions and their wonderful staff made our vacation more than memorable.
Globus always provides very high quality. We were completely satisfied with our experience.
Excellent itinerary, outstanding guide, and a wonderful trip to a delightful country I would strongly recommend.
I love working with Karen.
The tour cities and sites we visited were all great. The pace of the tour was good (not rushed with time to rest, shop or sight see on our own). Our tour director was fabulous (good communicator, knowledgeable, nice sense of humor). Our driver was a wonderful driver, I always felt safe. The extra excursions (I purchased all 4) were excellent and reasonably priced. I will use Globus again.
Globus Escapes are an economical way to travel during the off season. For me, I often prefer the off-season because there are fewer crowds. I especially appreciate the local tour guides in each area.
Great company. Makes traveling so enjoyable.
